Derek Escher has been playing guitar for more than 40 years. He adds multiple flavors of lead instrumentation to the band, ranging from pretty mandolin (a new addition a few years back), to psychedelic electric guitar. Rand Torman has been playing drums and percussion instruments since he was 15 years old. He has a varied musical background, having been trained in woodwind instruments as a young boy and learning other instruments later in life. Growing up in a music oriented family, Rand has played in bands since his teenage years, and continues to be the zendrum percussionist with the Fuzzy Side Band as well as REF. He enjoys all genres of music and loves the versatility he can bring to the group with the zendrum.
